PROGRAM DETAILS Kindergarten (Nursery, Lower KG and Upper KG)



AGPV Programs provide early childhood education to set children on a path of lifelong learning and nurture competencies that they will need to excel in the world. It also to helps children make a smooth transition from home to school settings and develop a range of skills that make them ready to learn when they start school such as:

SOCIAL SKILLS: The ability to empathize and interact successfully with their peer group & also relate easily to adults.

EMOTIONAL SKILLS: The ability to adapt behaviors depending on the situation.

LIFE SKILLS: To empower, foster positive self esteem, develop responsibility and respect towards others.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: The ability to have adequate language skills in order to benefit from experiences facilitating their cognitive, educational and social development,

SENSORY SKILLS: To facilitate exploration and naturally encourage children to use scientific process while they play.

MOTOR SKILLS: Fine and gross motor skills are important for children’s growth and independence.

CURRICULUM
Our curriculum lays a critical foundation for academic success in years to come. In kindergarten, each child will master the following skills:
  • Listening comprehension
  • Vocabulary development related to the themes
  • Fluency and clarity of expression
  • Reading readiness: Auditory/visual discrimination, auditory/visual association
  • Writing readiness: Eye-hand coordination, fine motor development
  • Concepts related to environment: myself , family, food, animals, transportation, community helpers, festivals etc.
  • Sequential thinking, problem solving, reasoning skills
  • Sensory integration
  • Development of Good habits
  • Exposure to two or more languages.
